Let there be proper enquiry commission and some strict measures are taken against the hospitals, otherwise the general public will suffer. more
Root causes are earning more money with ease and least bothered for medical care to the patient. Motives over a period of time have changed. more
- There is no common law that governs the medical institution and set standard operating procedures for all to follow - Hospitals operate outside the law as non of the hospitals are regulated. - Rates of procedures and tests are so varied across hospitals...it is like buying vegetables - people go window shopping for the cheapest option available. - Infrastructure in hospitals are sometimes out dates and inoperable. - A lot of doctors do not even speak to their patients or check them before asking for tests. - Nurses and ward boys have tie ups with pharmacies especially in govt hospitals. - Govt hospitals are in a dismal state and extremely unhygienic. The washrooms are overflowing and garbage is lying all over the place. - Rats and other rodents are running in the hospital - Bio medical waste is strewn in the hospital compound, in govt and private hospitals - Maids and and ward boys do not understand the first thing about hygiene. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely filthy and maintained as such. To clean one has to pay a sum - and still get minimum cleanliness. - A lot of hospitals are in extremely unhygienic locations - near overflowing nallas, overflowing garbage, overflowing sewers - how do they get the license to operate in such areas. - Nurses do not have basic training and are hired at low salaries. - Doctors need to display their certificates. - Family members and attendance should not be allowed to use the hospital as a hotel. For a fee the staff allow the patients family to stay in the room. - The mess is extremely dirty and the food is cooked in a unhygienic condition. There is no check on quality but only on cost. more
in private dental setups..... attendants r treating patient...... nobody wears apron with prominent name and qualifications display while treating patient..... this leads to fooling of patient..... no radiation protection being done in dental clinics more
Sir, in addition to points raised, I would say that the Drs are charging for consultation and advise tests and then when you go to show test reports the Drs are again charging full consultation fees even when there is no " consultation" at all second time . This is done through their PS who adopt strong arm methods to extract the amount second time. There should be some limit to greed. As far as non receipt of refund of excise by Shri Tarun Sheth though it is a different issue he can file a complaint on CPGRAMS website online and maybe he may get his refund. more
