Unexaplained deaths of ISRO and Nuclear staff
For past decade ISRO and Indian Nuclear Scientists haven't had an easy time around. Untill now 684 ISRO scientists and 59 Nuclear scientists have died under mysterious circumstances. Most recent incidents happened two months ago, high ranking officers KK Josh and Abhish Shivam submarine nuclear engineers were found on railway tracks. MoD described it as a routine accident.
Background checks on armed forces staff involved in sensitive duties is "a joke", and that even matters of extreme relevance such as surfing habits on the internet are not ordinarily scanned. Nor are offbase contacts with suspicious individuals, with "activities of staff while on leave or during their free time being almost completely missing from the radar. Hostile intelligence services as well as non-state players has the money needed to win over possible mercenaries willing to carry out sabotage.
I know most of the incidents happened during Congress raj however, this is a sensitive issue and we must take it up seriously. more

This is indeed a matter of grave concern!...I feel that all the cases of unnatural deaths of people from these sensitive organizations should be investigated, perpetrators should not be spared at any cost, and emergent action should be taken to make sure that this does not happen again at any cost - whatever it takes!! India cannot afford to lose these people - besides being a major setback in its march forward, it is also sends wrong signals to people of ill will!! more

This is an important issue. If India keeps losing its key resource persons, it will be a major set back. Our security departments such as IB, R & AW must act paranoically, and see enemies in every corner. We lost two submarines in the recent past. We do not know whether sabotage angle has been explored by anybody. Nowadays, wars are not fought only at the borders, but inside the enemy territory through terrorism, by creating set backs to public work, sabotage, disturbing developmental work in the enemy country, letting lose disinformation in the media. All these things are happening in India, and have been happening for a decade and a half. Not only the Government, but citizens must also be alert. ETERNAL VIGILANCE IS THE PRICE OF LIBERTY. more

Recently, Dr. Subramaniam Swami of BJP had posted a report on Facebook about the ongoing deaths of the scientists of various nuclear power plants in mysterious circumstances or where the cause of their deaths could not be ascertained. This is a serious, disturbing factor and needs to be dealt with on a very urgent basis. If the congress has kept mum , what or whose signal is BJP waiting for? Keeping in view the state o f affairs in whole of the world, the mushrooming terrorist outfits aad growing fundamentalists,the Al Qaida's so called special plan for India, mass influx of Bangladeshi refugees,and the neighboring enemies, it is alarming that though this news has been circulating for quite some time there is no reaction whatsoever from govt or public more

I remember having seen an article in January 2011 that ISRO does not want to reveal the details about its employees' deaths. When a Mumbai-based RTI activist tried to find out how many of ISRO's employees had died in the last 15 years, he received a reply that 684 persons had died in the last 15 years at ISRO and its associate units. However the cause of their deaths was with held. I for one feel that this is a very delicate issue, where the security of our nation may be at risk if we discuss or debate this openly in any public forum. Its enough if our PM and our National Security Cell are aware of this issue and I am sure they are already aware of this. more
