"Unexpected error at time of AADHAAR authenticatn"

I was trying to add my AADHAAR details to my account. But while saving in the KYC , I repeatedly got this message--"Unexpected error occured. Error at the time of AADHAAR authentication".
My name has not changed!
Any idea what is happening , what to do next? more

I also got the same error. So, whats the recommended solution? more
Could be the problem lies in the software. I found that the Govt. of India imagines every one has a surname. I had to fight to retain my name as L.Kalavathi in the new PAN card and Aadhar card . Even then some banks change my name to Lakshmanan Kalavathi or Kalavathi Lakshmanan. I also found that though Aadhar card is acceptable as proof of identity and as Address prood for KYC norms while opening a bank account, some banks' software refuse to accept the same number being furnished in the space for identity proof and address proof so the staff send away the prospective customer asking for another document. Also the tendency to deem an account as Dormant just because the accountholder has not made a debit is sheer harassment, whereas the account is deemed dormant in banking practice for other reasons. At least the Court has directed that debits following standing instructions should be taken into account and the dormant status should not be ascribed in these cases. This is very funny situation and this occurs only for one reason. The details even way of writing is slightly different in Aadhaar Card from the previously submitted KYC data authentication will not happen. more
