UNFINISHED PROJECTS AT CHENNAI

The MRTS connectivity between Velachery and St. Thomas Mount has been pending for a long time though 98% of the work is completed. For a small stretch, the entire project is being held to ransom. Is it not a collosal loss as the facilities created are rotting or rusting?. Why is the Court not addressing such issues?. Now and then this issue has been taken up by the Media, but those also go un-noticed. The completion of this project is of great convenience and can ease the traffic to a great extent. The traffic in Metro which is going empty may also pick up. With so much of advantages in this project why are the Authorities silent?. more

forget the Past. Now the state government has to act swiftly. The Project has to be finished at the earliest more
The court should heavily fine the people who are sitting pretty over the files related then only there would the speedy solution, this is same in many places in India. We are calling as government its only political party people more
My own take in this matter is this : Tamil Nadu Govt has FAILED to Display the Same Zeal it had shown while Lobbying for the Metro Rail Project with Indian Railways or the Central Govt.....!!!!.... If only State Govt. had shown the same Zeal and enthusiasm in EXECUTING the Project on TIME - Our State would have been the Richer. It could be the DMK Govt. that lobbied for the Project AND it could be the AIADMK Govt. that had to EXECUTE the Project .........OR VICE VERSA....!!!!.......BUT TRUTH IS THE STATE GOVT ( be it DMK or the AIADMK )HAS FAILED THE STATE'S PEOPLE....!!!...TODAY THE SITUATION IS THAT THE STATE GOVT.IS NOT SHOWING "COMMITMENT" TO THE PROJECT : THE DMK IS WITHOUT POWER AND HENCE, DISCARDED AND THE CENTRAL GOVT. SEEMS LEAST INTERESTED TO "COMPLETE" THE PROJECT...!!!.. WHO SUFFERS...???... WE, THE PEOPLE OF TN..!!.. more
The State Government will not and cannot pay the proper compensation for the land and building taken over by them. People have to struggle to get their letimate compensation more
court has cleared . the state govt is dragging its feat for compensation to be paid for land owners. that is why the delay more
