unjust hike in pvt. hospital consultation charges
There has been an unjustified hilke for OPD consultation at Apollo Hospital sector 26 Noida. The charges have been doubled from 400 to 800 in a span of one and half year. This arbitrary hike is totally unacceptable. I don't know about other charges in this hospital and also in other hospitals in Noida. Pls share your views so that collectively we can bring this issue to the district administration. more

Hike in medical facilities? Unfortunately medical and education should be out of business classifications. To allow them in business category is inhumane. Till 1950s I have seen elders advising young doctors to consider their profession as Godly and treatment to save life as service to God. My father as teacher never thought of charging for coaching classes and our teachers used to conduct extra classes without any consideration of poverty or caste. The solution shown by Delhi Govt. of Mohalla Clinics Is worth emulating which can address 80 to 85% of problems. more

I don't think there is any regulation on consultation charges as per law. There are clinics which charge 300 INR and there are some which charge many thousand INR. How are you going to define slabs for clinics? more

There are two factors like survive in society and checking of corrupt practice noticed/felt by any organisation. It is of satisfaction that bad practices are being criticised and it may not give immediate advantage but certainly it carries weight on the wrong doers more
