Unsolicited calls on mobile at odd hours.
Earlier there was a option for mobile subscribers to register their numbers for DND (Do Not Disturb). It seems that facility has become useless. I receive at 10 calls a day from my ICICI bank employees and some real estate agents, who apparently got the number from Airtel. It's so irritating to receive calls at odd hours and one can do very sweet little about it.
Anyone else who has faced this problem? Is there a way to get rid of this without changing the mobile number, because changing a 15 year old number is a difficult task. more

I am also facing this problem despite registering under DND a number of times. Only solution I think is for the courts or TRAI to take suo moto notice and impose heavy costs on telecallers. The other option is to block individual telecaller. more

We get nuisance calls many a times. This is irritating specially for Senior Citizens during afternoon nap hours. more

Yes. This is what happens with both of us, one 71 years old & other 65 years old. Mostly these calls are from medical insurance or bank agents (some times officials too). more

I receive not only such phone calls from Bajaj Finance, ICICI, but also from various others. Some of them, particularly Bajaj Finance has invaded my Landline also. Reply in the most abrasive and humilating language is no deterence for them. more

this is normal in every ones life today there is no use if reporting and blocking also they use technology to route the call from different number and once you accept the call then only it show the blocked number . so there is no use in reporting to TRAI also more

the sarcasm is you can never block these cheating fradulants even if you wish so the problem seems to with DOT and TRAI ..........They Charge Exorbitant Licence Price Through Auction .Than the Service Provider has to recover that Investment so you see Root Cause is TRAI and DOT . I tried every thing I could but at the End of the day Each and Every Number is bound to Get Spams, Fraudulant , Agents , Dallals , Bhadves, Commission Agent Selling their Sisters Vagina Calls no matter what more
