U.P. Law and Order

A few days back there was murder in Sector 39, NOIDA. Some days later, a college girl was robbed in broad day light of Sector 39 Entrance Gate. Then there was a bold theft in a jeweller's shop. Today, I have read about stopping of a car and killing of one person and raping of female passengers near Jewar.
While sacking of some inefficient government officials; and transferring of many IAS and Police officers is a welcome step, the current UP Govt needs to make the day to day life of residents of U.P. safe.
It appears as though the rowdy elements are going all out to challenge the current U.P. govt.
The impression now appears that the initial effect on the criminals is wearing off; and things are settling back to 'business as usual'.
We still have a lot of expectations from the current Govt of UP.
Please do not let us down. more

The Land registration Registrars in UP are among the most corrupt lot. Not only they but all their staff even the person who affixes stamp on papers takes at least Rs 100/- per set of papers. They are bloody most corrupt and no Govt has been able to do anything, may be because the ministers and CMs have been getting a big share out of the graft money. In UP they must be raided and hanged if found taking money. In fact their pockets should be checked while entering and leaving the offices. They must be earning 10 to 15 lakhs per day. I am told the new Minister for Dairy development in UP has also asked all PCDF (Parag) Plant Managers to pay Rs 80000/- pm each to him. Is there any Govt Depatt. or Govt officer in UP who is not corrupt. more
Need an efficient and quick measure to deal with all miscreants and show to media that no nonsense will be accepted. Zero tolerance for all the culprits irrespective of Thakurs, Dalit, Hindu, Muslim Sikh Christians. Government must have the STRICT & transparent action against Rapist, Murderer, Robbers, Cheater, Corrupt to show the media. Media will run for these actions, and the people of UP / India will remember it through out the life & generation to come. Let this govt. show it once!!!!!!. more
Yes you are right. But who has become more efficient - not the government nor police , but it is the media who is more efficient. They are reporting these type of news more vigorously, because they have no other jobs except to report hot news. So do not worry, it has been going on for ages and it will continue for ever . It is India. more
In my opinion CCTV cameras should be installed all along the highway in crime prone stretches. All known criminals should be rounded up under GOONDA Act. All police personnel who are found sleeping in mobile vans and who do not respond and reach spot with in 15 minutes in response to calls on 100 should be given voluntary retirement. Number of mobile vans should be increased on stretches which have past history of crimes. more
Riots on basis of caste are the result of continued and short-sighted policies of every government to indefinitely continue with reservations. Why call anyone a Dalit? Is it not an insult to a human being? And why should the Thakurs think they are the custodians of all that is good in society? Cleansing of the minds of Indians is the only way to come out of this situation. This can start only after the government dismantles the artificial barriers created by them among citizens, and implement the "EPI' (Every Person is Important) concept of the Prime Minister. more
