Updated Locations - Subsidised LEDs in Noida
Recently, we came to know via LocalCircles survey that a large majority of Noida citizens were unaware about the LED bulb distribution process.
We hereby are sharing the process of getting subsidised LED bulbs in Noida:
LED bulbs available: 7W and 9W
Price:
7W - Rs. 80
9W - Rs. 99
Where to go: Go to any of the PVVNL offices in the following sectors:
1.Sector 62
2.Sector 18
3.Sector 20
4.Sector 23
5.Sector 29
6.Sector 47
7.Sector 24
8.Sector 52
9. Jewar
1 van will be in sector 62b and 62c and another van will be in Bhangel.
Documents required:
A copy of 'paid' last month's electricity bill issued by PVVNL/RWA/Society etc.
How many bulbs can you get:
Electricity meter upto 5kW - up to 10 bulbs
Electricity meter of 5kW and more than 5kW - up to 20 bulbs
If you are a society resident, the society's RWA/ representative can show the consolidated bill and collect bulb for all flats and redistribute internally.
All payments have to be made in cash.
PVVNL has authorised HPL India, as the lead for the distribution in Noida and requests the RWAs to allow PVVNL/HPL to put up stalls in their locality to make the distribution of subsidised LED bulbs easy.
RWAs/societies who need a stall to be placed in their locality can respond to this post and someone from HPL will contact you.
If you face any issues in securing the bulbs, please share them here and we will try to address them.

We the RWA of Sector 44 would be interested in having a stall placed in our Sector for the distribution of the LED Bulbs. How do we go about it ? more

Thanks. Really very useful information. But awareness to general and poor persons is more essential and some means be found out for the same. One suggestion - Give a self-inking Rubber Stamp containing only the address of concerned SDO and the cost and numbers of LED Bulbs. Regards S. K.
