UPI transaction fee survey is excellent

The LocalCircles survey on UPI transaction fee is very good and is clearly telling the Government dont you introduce a fee on UPI transactions

Hope the Govt gets all platforms to find other ways to generate revenue and not impose any transaction or convenience fee. The survey is right 73% will stop using. Only the rich 23% may not mind paying transaction fee but if sabji wala not taking even the rich will reduce usage. more

Now any transaction to a Govt. agency even through Debit card, charge is applicable. It was not earlier imposed. Failed to understand why one should pay for a small amount transaction and agencies prefer Paytm? Reasons are still unknown. more  
Currency was the medium of exchange and there was no fee linked to it. When you substitute curremcy with electronic means the genesys of a transaction charge is not understandable. If at all, there is a cost it should be borne by the currency issuer i.e the government. Levy of charges on UPI transactions is fundamentally flawed. more  
The main question is, What Charge on UPI transaction would be there, to day when fund transfer through NEFT is free and IMPS charges are Rs. 5 plus GST per transaction. if transaction charges are within that limit say up to Rs, 2000 free and there after Rs. 5 per transaction, people may not feel bad and gradually accept it as it will still be convenient. However if banks are expecting UPI charges like MDR charges on credit card, that is 2-3 percent of transaction value, banks should know that on UPI, people are using their own money and on credit card, it is an extension of credit money. If MDR like charges are applied on UPI, it will certainly get passed on to payer, in such circumstances I think it will be convenient to use cash than UPI. more  
When One can pay by Debit or Credit Card without additional Fee why will One pay extra for UPI that takes a little more work! more
