Urgent need to have standards for vaccination centers

Vaccination centers in Mumbai BKC being national talk of how poorly managed is state of affairs. Why is the CM not paying attention. See this attached video a relative made. The vaccine is supposed to resolve Covid not cause it.

Intervene authorities and think again fellow citizens more

The situation does look mismanaged. I think there must be a local official in charge. He should be authorised to bring in necessary support of police or security if necessary. A little planning will solve the matter. No need for the CM to look into this. more
I think we may need police to regulate the queues. And the queue for first dose and second dose need to be clearly marked. It is of course that we are not used to disciplining our selves, because if we do, it is looked down as weakness and the queue breakers take advantage. more
All arrangements are in place. People just do not listen. People are supposed to sit on chairs till their turn comes to join the queue. The staff at the center are polite and working hard, but they cannot push the crowd. This is scene of outside the center, at the entrance to the vaccination rooms. There are supposed to be two lines but people make 3 or 4 lines. Along with senior citizens queuing for their first shot there are front line workers who are queuing for their second shot. Once you enter the vaccination area, there is calm and systematic process and in a few minutes the vaccination is done. We always blame the government but we too should be disciplined. more
We went to Dr. Ambedkar hospital in Kandivali west on 2nd March at 8.40 AM. Around 100 chairs were kept. But after 9.10 or so, someone asked to stand in queue. 2 queues were there. We stood in queue2 which was to be for 2nd dose people, how it can be as senior citizens vaccination had just started ?. Because of this mess, I knew 4-5 persons who came 5-7 minutes after us got vaccinated at 10.30, and our turn came at 12.55 PM. We don’t have simple management skills and people do not follow simple first come first serve basis, they feel proud if they manage to beat system and fool fellow citizens. What a sorry state of affairs. Plus glitches in system - we claim to be pioneer in this field, but authorities are not able to put system in place even though implementation date was decided weeks back. CHALTA HAI, WHO CARES, PEOPLE MAY SUFFER SO WHAT? more
second dose for front line workers, municipal workers etc more
