Urgent review of jail facilities for VIP convicts
It is well known that jails are not modern in India even after 70 years after independence.How would you expect prisoners to reform and change ?
Commoners will face hell injails living in such primitive conditions and It is reported that VIPs under remand or convicted category get special facilities according to media reports .
Big offenders either in criminal or civil cases get safe secure five star facilities in today’s jails like phones , visiting rooms , cooks, tv, special food and drinks at will after “management “ by their kin or party men or bench men.
They continue to hold meetings , send directives and arrange killings,extortions and mange elections .Paroles are arranged at will.
It is time that social justice must be done to all categories of inmates by ensuring implementation of rules for all .
Or if some governments are soft towards their VIP convicts there must be a central vigilance commission of jails making surprise visits or getting confidential information about bribery ,special facilities given to VIP inmates so that action can be taken or misuse can be prevented.
Next step will be all VIP convicts are putin far off jails of another distant state like Delhi or Punjab where central authorities can keep a tab on their proper and just administration.

One has to visit present jails to know the facilities and general wards and cubicles and the administration.I have the experience and to state that it may not be true is understating the facts. more

I think such instances have come down drastically in past 4-5 years. It may not be 100%. more

FURTHERMORE the SC & HC in N'number of cases made it mandatory to Register the FIR in Prima-facia - Cognizable Offences. Never get Implemented. more

It is open secrete NOT only the Favors is extended BUT also the facts that thouse who are resisted/ing will get punished even to the extend of brutally murdered. The main cause is the Political influences and the Officers which succumb for their sailfish motive and / Or personal gains. Which is to be stopped. more

The idea of Jail is defeated by ELECTED VIPS . They are at lib misusing their designation everywhere. We people are resposible for the resultant situation. We must get to know them before voting. Dont just go for a party. more
