First I tell you about my experience. My wife had blood cancer (AML) in 2006. We had great difficulty in getting donors -- specially platelet donors -- by contacts through friends and relatives. Even to get blood from so called 'blood banks' was not easy. Later I found there are many list of donors in the internet. These donors are educated, well positioned and highly committed and dedicated.
