I read a journal article that suggests Shilajit has a good combination of minerals from the Himalayas that improves overall health and can fight multiple diseases. I consume it to improve my breathing capacity while trekking. If you do choose to purchase Shilajit, I would suggest buying pure Shilajit in rock form from Ebay and powdering it at home yourself.....most of the branded capsules in the market have adulteration and mix with other elements that may not be good for you. I purchased five 10 gram packets from a Gujarati suppler on Ebay and it was 100 per cent original.
