I think that govt. should make mandatory use of solar energy in all the constructed building either commercial or residential. There should be a minimum mandatory capacity to be installed which should be formulated as per the area/volume of the construction and the power connection from Electrical Department should only be provided after installation of solar system. Even this should also be applicable on already constructed buildings. more
The Government should provide subsidies on solar power units installed by farmers in villages. The farmer can generate the power required for his water pumping unit and lighting needs at home .Alternatively Govt can ear mark waste non cultivable land in villages to start a solar power generating unit which will feed power to the villages and also cuts down demand for power gererated using coal ,water ,or nuclear fuel more
Thanx Vijay and Dinesh. I agree that Government should work on its quality and cost constraint but until it will be made mandatory the people will not adopt it easily. Also when Modi jee talk about taking hard step for development of India it should also be included in the agenda. Moreover this will also help to save the environment. more
Dear Anil, Thanks for your support and interest shown in using solar energy. Myself is also very much interested and active in utilising solar energy for day today purpose. However main hurdle in this is non availability of quality solar panels and the high cost of material. Government through media channel should made propaganda on large basis and start educating common man / society for updating through DD or DTH. The solar energy system must be users friendly and not be selective. The local authority should used solar powered traffic control system in all municipal corporation immediately to avoid traffic congestion . All the best for our movement. more
