Using air purifiers as dustbins
Cigarette butts, bidi packets, chewing gums and wires are being thrown in air purifying units installed on Delhi roads. The officials found this while inspecting WAYUs (Wind Augmentation Purifying Units) at different places in the city.
One its a shame both for people of Delhi and the Govt but we must give suggestions as to what can be done so people understand not to throw insert garbage in these purifiers. See attached pic of how these look. more

Public awareness needs to be increased. Unless public is aware of the usefulness and importance of such devices, such incident will continue to happen. more

An effort must be made to change the attitude of people towards many such issues by system of education, educated citizens themselves, parents. more

There should be a chapter in school that how our new generation to become a good civilised and save our environment or the equipments installed on roads. This is also given by the parents to their child and good child can give to there parents also. There should be awareness regarding food wastage in marriage and the functions. more
