Some of the longest train journeys affecting lakhs of passengers and these trains largely serve poor and middle class customers and aid internal migration, carry patients to health centres and serve the needs of students.Railways be asked to improve the quality of the travel experience in these trains in all aspects like scheduling, safety, speed, passenger facilities, hygiene, food, etc. more
Sir, everyone gets the job/work according to his qualification. E.g. I have done Masters in Technology after qualifying GATE exam, and also qualifed exam and interview of central govt, thus I am in govt sector. Many people did not qualified the exam, thus they are not selected. So, please dont compare a labourer and a qualified person. There are numerous examples that son/daughters of labourers have made to civil service (IAS or IPS etc). This all depends on qualification and hard work. One who did not possess qualification, or did not qualified exam, should not be compared to those who qualified it. Isn't it hard to get selected in Govt Sector ? more
There is growing tendency of deploying office staff for domestic works not only in railways but all other government offices.Actually people take pride in boasting for such practices. This should be banned and new culture started throughout country. more
My problem is a bit different : In spite having my having valid Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Identity Card issued by Election Commission, Driving License, Ration Card, Proof of Address Card issued by Department of Posts, I am not able to 'sign in' or 'log in in for Rail eTicket Booking. It shows at the end of filling up the Registration form that "user already exists". Invariably, I get Rail ticket booked by someone else in spite of my having the resources. I could not find any 'forum' to address this problem - - - Ramachandran, Chennai more
What do you mean Mr.BKGaur by "a Govt. official who work 10-12 hrs a day deserve perks...!!!" How about a labourer who works even longer every day....by your logic, he would too need perks..!! more
