It is to reduce crowed on express trains and in turn on passenger trains etc.We must choose balanced approach for movement of passengers considering peak times. more
The main points to choose were , Time saving while you compare taxi to airport pick up and drop points during upward and return journey, As many airports are far away from residences except for 5% of residents. Safety risks from weather are with air travel. Cost of ticket less comparing even economy class OF AIR FARE. We can have options for snacks, and food items unlike in flight. We can call our friends or relatives to pick up from station, but if we make call to come to airport find so many reasons to escape for them as many of them not interested. more
Who cares for price, nowadays every one wants luxury life more
comfort and convenience always cost high in any travel. Applicable to all mode of transportation. more
There is oomph value to travel by air. Call the taxi to home to reach airport,3 hours before scheduled flight. Wait to get a boarding pass, security check etc and have a cup of coffee at 10 times the cost. Reach destination in less than an hour if flight is in time, wait for luggage to arrive, wait in another queue for pre-paid taxi and reach ultimate destination dead tired after spending money. VB train is a lot better option to reach places within 2-5 hours, more or less. Some people have been complaining about food and toilets in VB trains. Well We Cannot have it all. more
