Vande Bharath - Good, but needs improvement

Have taken the Bangalore <->Chennai Vandebharath express a couple of times. Comfortable seating and movement. Seats in Executive chair car can be rotated. Keeps up the time and convenient timing from Bangalore. A few improvements would help:
- Stop the announcements of next station stoppage. Irritating
- Instead of showing the display of the PM inaugurating the Vandebharath trains, show what the next station is (stopping or not stopping), some lesser known places to see in the route, culture etc.
- Food (snacks) is served by 4pm. After that the train reaches Chennai by 720pm. Instead of serving all the snacks at 4pm, split the snacks from 4pm and another at 530pm.
- The serving personnel will ask you if you want tea, coffee etc. at around 6pm. These are paid services, not part of the ticket.
- Ensure that passengers do not carry big suitcases and limit the number of luggage each person can carry. Otherwise, they block the passageway. more

Railways should make a sincere effort to restore the amenities what were being provided to conventional trains -even up to last 80's. Punctuality, cleanliness and catering - all seems to have become things of the past. more
Improvements: 1. 140 km/hr, doing Delhi Varanasi 770 kms distance in 7 hours! 2. Automatic concourse flush doors - A first. 3. Smooth running, free of jerks. 4. Vaccuum toilets - clean. 5. At Rs.1740 a seat, seats all sold! Reasonable pricing. Successful commercially. Overall positive. Rotating seats in Executive class a frill! Showing PM inaugurating the Vande Bharat train is PM's promotional. Staggering the snacks a good suggestion. But serving costs. more
Other conventional trains are now neglected by railways.Cleanliness and ameneties are at its low.Pantry cars are charging heavy at their will with their own menu served.Other brand water bottke are sold (except Rail NEER) at 20/-,but no one is bothered....Cleanliness of coach at stations are now totally stopped...is Swacch Bharat ageda has been dropped now? Many distant trains are now taken-off and Tatkal quota seats has been increased, cancellation fees are at it high and brutal too.Request Railway to do the best to bring the railways at its own old level first then think for better Railways.Safety Also is major concern as it is many ways being compromised, every now and then we are coming across news of big or smalll accidents recently. Also I was the witness of recent Coromondal Express accident with my family. It was the grace of Almighty God which saved us.I am frequent traveller in train for past 20 years and I am putting all the points through my past and present experience of train travelling. more
Good suggestions. more
The most important point- civic sense of passengers. The toilet was littered with tissue papers. One passenger spilled a whole cup of tea on the walkway. Firstly, they should have been more careful. The least that they could have done was to call the train service personnel (number keeps scrolling on the display screen once in a while). We called them and they cleaned it. Probably, this number should get displayed at multiple places in each compartment. And the display should show dos and don't by the passengers. more
