I CAN SUGGEST AN EASY ALTERNATIVE TO ALL THE SUGGESTIONS PUT FORWARD BY MEMBERS ABOUT THIS OVERCHARGING OF VAT BY RESTAURANTS... " WHY NOT WE TRY TO PRECIPITATE THE MATTER IN THE RESTAURANT ITSELF before SETTLING THE BILL - INSTEAD OF LAMENTING ABOUT THE SAME FOR 'DONKEYS YEARS' AFTER, SETTLING THE BILL..!!.. YES...IT WOULD CREATE A SCENE.!!.. YOU WOULD HAVE YOUR GUESTS OR EVEN FAMILY MEMBERS WITH YOU AT THAT TIME BUT, IT WOULD HAVE MORE EFFECT IF THE MATTER IS SORTED OUT, THEN AND THERE...!!!... RESAUANTS WOULD ALSO LIKE OTHER GUESTS TO NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM BEING OVERCHARGED AND WOULD SETTLE THE MATTER AMICABLY WITHOUT RESORTING TO A SCENE..!!.. more
When complaints are made ,the concerned authorities do not care to act. This attitude of the authorities should be changed. more
To whom to lodge the complaints? Who is there to listen? more
When most of us shy even to protest on the spot despite knowing that the restaurants are defrauding & looting us, it will be too much to expect from them to register their complaints in writing. We are also equally guilty of allowing the looters to loot customers fearlessly. more
