VAT charged on Discounted items

I purchased 3 trousers from Allen Solly store in Bangalore.
MRP marked was "inclusive of all taxes".
A discount of 50% was offered by the store.
Retailers used to charge VAT after offering 50% discount.
NCRDC and other district consumer court have given a ruling against the retailers for charging VAT extra.

Inspite of the rulings, the store charged me additional VAT after allowing discount.

I objected to pay VAT - at the time of payment. Ofcourse i paid the VAT as i was told to write to Allen Solly (ABFRL LTd.) with my grievance.

ABFRL is insisting on charging additional VAT.

What is the recourse ?

Where can I lodge my complaint - ONLINE.
I am a senior citizen, living in Bangalore.
It would be difficult to visit consumer court hearings .

The total value of the purchase is Rs. 5,062.00

IF I am within my rights, then,
I would like a refund PLUS
I would like the company to be penalised - because the company is aware of the consumer court ruling.

I await guidance from members.

the store is not in order in charging VAT as MRP marked was "inclusive of all taxes" more
Allen Solly & Van Hussein do charge VAT after discount; which is not right. However, their clothes look really good on me & their quality is also consistent. The cusomer service is excellent. I hope this gets sorted out soon. Because of these extra charges I tend to go to other brands like Peter England with it's sober hues. more
Vat is a fooling system without any proper guidance . more
Please try to lodge a compalint on the PGPORTAL under relevant head. www.pgportal.gov.in more
You may keep the Bills and knock the door of Consumer commission/ Forum making BOTH of them i.e. retailer ( being authorized seller and the Manufacturer as Respondent. You are having very good case. more
