Venkataraman has raised a valid question. Why the cess? Will the cess amount really lead to a swachh Bharat? The public health, public works and municipal departments will get more money to swindle. Instead of cess, levy hefty fines on those who litter garbage and defecate/spit in the open. more

Thank for you mail. I am observing the swatch work all these days, but results are not up to the mark as: We feel area is polluted with garbage, dust etc. But before, the man is totally polluted in every atom of the blood in terms of selfishness, corruption and never interfere if unjusties happens at neibours, as if it is not connected to them. This type of attitude must go from citizens an fair for welfare of socity. The work of watch Bharat need to hand over to ceiling associations/village panchayat to take responsibility for cleanliness, instead photo pose by pilitiations spending huge money. more
