Changing the selfish mindset of Indians is a herculean task. By the time, we'll succeed educating 10 persons, a new crowd of 1000s would come up. As per my observations, such issues come up only if there's a huge gap between demand & supply and the mighty people take advantage of their position & connections. I don't think anyone would prefer to take an obligation if not needed. Better the Governments should focus on increasing the availability of such services so that no one requires such favors. more

How many o you have NEVER USED your influence for anything? The fact is that all of us look for some contacts we may know who can help us in ANY WAY. Let us ourselves stop this practice first. Personally, I have never needed any contacts for getting treatment or vaccination for Covid 19, even in Govt Hospital, Noida. I and my wife never had to spend more than 30 minutes in getting our job done. more

Point is that one cant expect 139 crores to be self disciplined ever. Otherwise there would have been no requirement of police, courts etc. The govt should devise systems that penalise the ones misusing their position. Yes, majority should oppose such misuse as well and that can happen only with right education in early stages and our capability to protest against wrongs.
