It is proven that at any point of time, it is always the middle class and below who suffer the most. However, this has been happening always even before Independence. We first gave the British the VIP treatment and it automatically followed even after Independence. The police who is supposed to stop it have no choice because they get orders from the higher ups. Better to worship at home in front of a small idol. After all God is omnipresent. Let the privileged class enjoy. more

Until our colonial and slavery mindset will not disappear this nuisance will continue, no matter whatever you do. Can't expect government will do every thing. more

All must be treated equally in places of worship. Rather, anybody asking for special treatment should be put last in he que for darshan. more

This is a common culture traditionally continuing since British raj but it got more importance in recent times. Rather it turned to a lucrative business module. Such treatment gives one a special feeling also. Hence; such idea and practice get more importance now. more
