VIP culture experience

Recently I visited a Central Government office in Delhi. There were some toilets with a code there. They will open only if you key in the code. These toilets are super clean and well maintained. Only VIPs are given the code.

Commin people have to hunt and find common peoples toilet in same building. They are not so clean or well maintained.

So much for saying that vip culture is reducing in India. I am sorry its not.

LocalCircleS was instrumental in getting red light in vehicle removed. Can we do the same thing with VIP toilets for sarkari mantris and babus. more

Reducing VIP Culture in India
While a submission was made last year on this subject, limited efforts have been put forth by the Government to reduce the VIP culture. With this post we would like to seek even more specific solution inputs from you that as common citizens, we would want the Central Government to implement. Please give as specific an input as possible. We look forward to your inputs! Reducing VIP Culture in India 1. Except for the President, Prime Minister, Governors and Chief Ministers of states, armed forces service chiefs, no one should be granted VIP status 2. The word VIP should be removed from tens of thousands entrances, doors, lounges and entry gates 3. Use of the red and blue beacons should be restricted 4. Roads should not be closed for more than 10 minutes for a VIP movement 5. The international travel plans of the VIPs should be scrutinized 6. Family members of VIPs should not be allowed on official tours with them 7. The VIP quota in Railways should be trimmed and should be usable only in case of emergency 8. Aircraft and train departures must never be delayed due to VIPs 9. The idolising of bureaucrats and ministers should be stopped 10. Government should not try to satisfy the ego of the VIPs by giving them these privileges; it should be based on needs 11. Some privileges should be withdrawn for the VIP culture to diminish 12. The darshan procedure at religious places should be equal for everyone 13. VIPs should not be considered to be above the law – they should be tried like a common man 14. No free frills for VIP. They should foot the bill and claim from the respective department, which should have the budget 15. The number of people getting Z level security should be reduced.

People mind set to be changed to the concept of Swatch Bharat slogan. more
We don't believe in Cleanliness. We have seen Modi has started this awareness. But still it is very Poor. more
How many VIPs build public toilets, to be used exclusively by the poor! That is the morality prevalent today. Many autoreply messages seen here, in fact on many threads, even posts in localcircles! This is how people treat a free resource. Little regard about themselves spamming others, but eager in using a resource for their maximum benefit! Being consumerist. Shitting elsewhere, while keeping themselves clean personally! Double standards! However, what goes around, comes around. more
It is not VIP Culture. Common Peoples are dirty & spoiled clean spaces, rooms , toilets. Even AC I tier toilets become dirty during journey time with gutkha , pan. Air ports wall are painted with Spiting of Pan, Gutkhas etc. First peoples should improve themselves then cry after VIP facilities of cleaning , spaces. more
Let VIPs have their own toilets but that does not mean common toilets should be left dirty. more
