VIP culture full out - do something

Attached video of President of India as he comes out of the Puri temple. I can count a total of 24 cars. May be you all can do a better job!!

Can and Will LocalCircles escalate this issue. Wrong is wrong doesnt matter who does it.

Why does a president need to travel in 24 cars and use tax payers hard earned money like this. We as a country are moving backwards. more

Wondering aloud - does our country really need figureheads like this. Wish we had a leaner governance structure. more
Welcome to India. When the President of a country misuse the resources of this country, you can easily understand why police do petty crimes. Surprisingly, there are many fools in India who will defend President. They'll say President is head of the country and they deserve everything. more
It has been observed that this type taking 24 Cars is too much. I have seen Dr Manmohan Singh's tour to Mumbai, there were 49 Vehicles. These are expenses on Tax Payers Account. Now Compare with Dignitaries of many Countries. Many of them are using very minimal so called Securities. We should also reduce this and this is High Time. more
1)There are number of reasons due to which there is always security threat to India’s President, Prime Minister, security advisor, Head of Defense staff. 2)NSG/security Department is created at Central Government to decide the requirements in including requirement of vehicles and its occupants. 3)The Changes made in the day-to-day trip are according to inputs the security department receives. 4) It will be better not to advise the Central in this regard, unless we have some super ideas for security of VVIPs. more
Prima facie, the fleet looks much more than required, we are not aware how much security is Authorised to the President and the requirement of vehicles. Thus, any conclusion on our part is incorrect. If any one is serious about the issue, it should be pursued through RTI and PIL. more
