I am afraid I have not found any reference to recommendation by MPs and the protocol to deal With them. It’s entirely different matter that officials generally ignore the common man and give undue importance and time to them and we can’t isolate the health sector especially when this is the norm even before Lord Venkateswara in his own temple. It’s impossible to eradicate VIP culture and privileges when even a village Revenue officer need a helper to carry his official documents. The change has to come from people and mindset because all those are from among us. In fact, Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayan had advocated disobeying unlawful orders. more

Why should anybody recommend anybody? Everyone, including politicians and their cronies, should follow the standard procedure. I am sure not only politicians, but even doctors themselves also must be indulging in this practice. more
