Vodafone Idea - A Fraud being perpetrated on silent customers

Payment made against my Vodafone phone bill was duly acknowledged and credited to my account. After almost 10 days, the credit entry was reversed and reminder sent to me for payment. On enquiry, the customer care informed that the payment has been reversed in their books. Since I did not receive any credit in my bank account, I sent them a declaration that the money had not been received back. Their customer care rep asked me to furnish my bank statements in support which, I refused, citing confidentiality of financial records. I requested them to give me transaction details of the fund transfer.
My phone line was disconnected and, under duress, I paid the bill amount again to get my connectivity restored. My communications to their nodal officer are met with vague replies and the senior officer refuses to come on line.
They are still not able to advise any transaction details and the question is WHERE HAS THE MONEY GONE?
This must be happening to lot many customers. Since the amounts are small they go unreported. Imagine the amount of money being made in this unethical manner. Is someone listening? more

i wouldn't have paid the bill for next month until they clear this backlog and credited back my money, even if i they disconnect the line. These customer cares really needs to understand our issues from the core instead of just listening and giving stupid solutions. more
Providing them a statement is not an issue. If you do not want to disclose your transactions then you may select only limited transactions and send them. more
