VOTERS REGISTRATION in GURGAON from 13-27th DEC

I was surprised to learn from Chief Electoral Officer (Haryana) Srikant Walgad' statement that only 9 lacs out of total 20 lacs voters in Gurgaon are Registered, which is extremely low. We should take the responsibility to c that all the people u know get registered for voting. V in Art of Living hv been working on this under "Vote For A Better India" banner, n got many ppl regd. In the nxt elections v shud c that at least 80% ppl cum out to vote. I hope all agree vd me :)) more

The recent voter drive organized by the election commission saw very poor participation. the officials said that the villagers in Gurgaon were far more aware than the corporate workers, who will later whine for not being allowed to vote. sad situation for a city which lacks governance totally more
