Water Quality
A news channel is saying residents of New Delhi, South Delhi, Chandni Chowk, North-West and Noida constituencies need not worry as the lab tests found that the water flowing out of their home taps is safe for drinking. In their reports, the values were indicated in permissible limits.

Why is it that Delhi Water is in News? Do people in UP get Ganga water in their taps at home? I have lived in Chennai for 2 years where people were depending on Tankers which used to come on alternate days. For drinking water there were umpteen number of potable drinking water. Diamond, Double Diamond, Bisleri etc...water there was business and no complaints were forthcoming as availability of water in itself was a luxury. In their 5 year stint despite spending crores of rupees and to the extent that Supreme Court got agitated and pulled up Water Minister Uma Bharti who silently slipped out like Indian Cricket Team player on injury list. However to slight the popularly elected Delhi CM Mr.Arvind Kejriwal, all these stories were built up. Water & Agriculture Minister Ram Vilas Paswan did not reveal his source of water which he tried to hoodwink people of Delhi. Delhi-ites are not fools, they can see the quality of water and also taste it and CM took the pitch and drank a glass of DJB Delhi water from a tap in full public view after which Mr.Paswan had to shut up. more

Than why you have installed water purifier in your house ??. Poor can't install it and they need water suitable for drinking which is not available any where in country. Delhi had worst that is report of BIS. more
