Water wastage, request local authority for audit
Summer is in full swing. Lot of places in our country feeling pain of water shortage.
In my local area and other parts of Gurgaon see water wastage which is really pity. There are points in commercial and residential area where supply water is connected.
Whenever supply water flows from these points water go waste as there is no tap connected to it also there is no meter so water go waste and good for nothing.
Few people fill water from there so will not say to stop these points however should be maintained so there will be no waste of water. The time has come where from public to government official need to think how to stop rather ignoring. Please get a regular audits in place and action against guilty.
Also I suggest fix the timings may be thrice a day when the supply water released. Not for god sake for you kids and family to live support.
Please report and take initiative to stop the wastage. God bless and keep as awake. more

Shobha,I can show you some amazing work done with recycled plastic bags.There are organisations all over India doing it.I think Thunk is one of them.There was this showcase which Fabindia Pune did a few years ago more

Wasting water is a national shame, more so when it has been established that 25% of villages in the country are deprived of water. We owe it to them, at least, to conserve water and employ correct means to prevent water wastage. It becomes necessary for the Municipal Corporations or Water supply bodies to supply treated water for drinking and other chores, but untreated water for washing of cars, cleaning our driveways, watering our lawns. We often see helpers at home use water for different chores, and whatever is left over in the bucket is mercilessly thrown out on the road. Not only does it create puddles on the roads, but the roads get eroded. A bit of training to the house-help can go a long way in saving the day for us citizens. more

we also collect the residual water coming from R.O. in a bucket and using it in plantation /cleaning of floors....etc. more
