Water woes

There in no water in my colony for the last 7 days now. Have put in formal complaint to DJB a several number of times but no help. Earlier they used to tell that it should get resolved within 48 hours but now they say I talk to the area JE to get it resolved. When I ask his contact, they say they don't have it. Now why only I look so disturbed by this is, I have no submersible pump (assume it's illegal) but 90% households have it, and I pay the water bill (I don't see people paying bills though). The entire colony is dug up for sever or drains. No way to cars to pass by. All I can see is posters of the MLA claiming he is doing the work (same boasting as any other party). I am totally confused, should I leave this locality. What do I get by paying electricity, water bills and property taxes in time. What am I getting by paying income tax hoping I will get a better livelihood. more

This is the carelessness of Delhi Govt. or punishment to the public or excess public trust to the Honest party AAP as they show in all speech and publicity . On Sat, Mar 4, 2017 at 8:27 PM, Ajay Kundu wrote: > more
Water problem is very critical problem in Delhi. Got is also trying to improve the situation but there are circumstances which are not foreseen in advance. This is not a new problem , this is a yearly phenomena. Water sacracity is due to increased number of occupants of houses and the availability of water in a particular area. Govt should make some plan in every area of Delhi so that the water shortage is not felt in the area. Ram Yadav more
Thanks... why we need to have connect and why things cannot be done for general populace, what will take that? Its high time things are digitised, so complaints are lodged online and attended to with complete response too... are we trying to increase the corruption of civil service or trying to check mate it. Lets take steps to get things resolved in normal course and not through top contacts only pls, as AAP government is causing more problems and more corruption for general public then before. I agree with Mr. VINOD SAHNI (Law & Order in North West Delhi) "BETTER, ELECTRONIC METERS, NEED TO BE INSTALLED OR TILL THAN WATER BILLS MAY BE RAISED AS PER THE FLOOR SIZE OF THE HOUSES ( AS HOUSE TAX IS CHARGED). SMALLER FLOOR AREAS CAN BE EXEMPTED, ASSUMING THE FALL IN THE 20 KL/MONTH CATEGORY." more
Electronic meters should be installed to solve the problems. more
