Wazirabad environment officials need to be sacked

Yamuna water has pollution of unimaginable levels causing all kinds of health ailments in Delhiites and 50% of the pollution is contributed by wazirabad industrial area. The environment officers or pollution check officers must be accepting bribes from both hands and permitting industries to dump all kinds of polluting materials.

Can a serious crackdown happen by delhi govt and central govt?? more

I agree. Invaluable lesson was provided by such a situation, that this government and administration, by reopening industries, quickly frittered away, after the lockdoan! Lockdown provided visible proof there as to who is the polluter. Never again would we have this controlled experiment wherein all industry along the Yamuna, discharging their industrial affluents into the river, will ever be shut. Polluters making their today's living with our nation's future. Industry owners could argue about their innocence, before the lockdown. No more. However, Delhi government allowed them continuing with the status quo ante, on reopening. Government and those capitalists continuing such factories, benefiting therefrom must take the moral responsibility. The latter more so! more
DISPLACEMENT OF POLLUTION EMITTING UNITS MAY BE DONE IN PHASED MANNER TO AVOID TURMOIL IN SOCIETY. IN THE MEAN WHILE, IDENTIFICATION OF POLLUTANTS FOR RECYCLING THESE TO PRODUCE USEFUL CHEMICALS CAN BE DONE. I AM LIVING CLOSE TO NAJAFGARH DRAIN. DUE TO HAZARDOUS GASES EMANATING FROM THIS DRAIN, I AM PAYING NOT LESS THSN Rs. 10000/- EVERY YEAR FOR DOING AMC OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES USED BY ME. THINK OF LAKHS OF PEOPLE ALSO LIVING ALONG BOTH SIDES OF THIS DRAIN more
It's very true. It had been continuing for years. Late CM Sheila Dixit took some steps to dislocate such industries but there was a huge trouble. We also should not encourage such protest. Now the present govt. poses a messiah of common people so he hardly bothers to do it but always talking positive in public domain and blame others as usual. Ganges & Yamuna both are on the same platform and no shortage of promises but no action to clean up. Game will continue till it pays a good dividend to politicians. more
I agree that this is a serious problem. If possible please write to the useless Kejriwal to take proper action. I know that nothing will happen since a large portion of the money coming to some of the hands are for this man himself. I also feel that nothing is likely to happen but no reason not to try at least. more
