1. Unauthorized hawkers must be completely restricted
2. The number of hawkers allowed on a platform should be ascertained by railways
3. A process should be defined to provide licenses to the hawkers
4. The hawkers who are already selling at those platforms should be given preference for licensing
5. Quality checks should be put in place for licensed hawkers

We create our own problems by misplaced sympathies. If railways take a decision with a view of smooth and passenger friendly operation no other so-called social issues be allowed to disrupt it. Unfortunately many in India feel they have a Democratic right go and sit on protest any issue not even remotely concerned with railways. This shd stop. more

I agree that everybody have rights to earn for his livelihood that does not mean that Hackers have to stand wherever they feel. Railway has to issue give licence to Hawkers to move on platform and also Identity card to Hawkers who are moving in train with eating items. Liberalised policy is harmful to society. some Strictness is to be required. more

Since everybody have right to earn his livelihood, there must be some alternative to that. more
