Dear Mr.Hanumantharao ,can one complain for society in consumer forum for deficiency in services.or how should i proceed as i was not allowed membership for years after submitting all documents and also my damages which are in common areas were not corrected/ repaired for months which later i had done on own cost and suffered losses due to that for fittings and fixtures. more

The Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860 was enacted under the British Raj in India, but is largely still in force in India today. It provides for the registration of literary, scientific and charitable societies at national level.
