Web series are entertainer or influencer?
In todays's senario we use to prefer web series rather than daily soaps. Web series like 24, POK (bandi yudh ke) etc. were appreciable. But series like Mirzapur, scared games!! where only gangster way, weird language and nudity is like main motto to pass public, are not under any condition or pass certificate from any board. Such series may be a good business for maker but is it not harming society's value? such series can give ideas to criminal minds too. Unless we have powers to regulate a content either in films, tv ,web ,public life this un wanted content will have effect on society .west is different ,we have our values to be protected.Why not regulate the web also though it is a colossal task. more

I wonder if the series like Mirzapur or Sacred Games are seen by the censor board before they are screened on Netflix or Prime Amazon more

The pictures, TV serials which carry vulgar content or criminality become super hit over night. The motto of every producer/Director is to mint money. Even vulgar songs are not lagging behind. The actors agree for any scene for the sake of money and fame. It seems the character of every young Indian is doubtful. This is all against Indian culture and the Govt. should introspect and make rules to minimize this social menace. more

true, entertainment industry play a big role in creating society.. now days dance & party in movies means short clothes and sometime cheap steps with cheap words... overnight those words become popular more

Yes, cinematic themes are reflectors of the society but it is not the case always. Issues/matters relating to certain sect/community cannot reflect the world at large but its ramifications when shown in films and TVs in the community is very significant and by and large they have negative impact resulting in bad situation. Now what is depicted in films and TV serials is only vengence and nothing else and no morals. Of course very rarely moral films are made but they don't impact much as everything is commercialised. Besides, social medias also play vital role in a bad way. Again TV serials are watched by the family entirely including children and public debates go endlessly and without and positive result. This has negative impact on the society especially children at large. This is reflected in the happenings in public places. Yes, parents must teach the children about all fair means but films and TVs take precedence. So change for better from top to bottom is must. Both Government and community should go in hand together to make that change. more

I have 3 year baby, i never watch TV channel or any serial/movie or songs when she awake or at home. I only either set baby tv/kids channel ejunior, fix &foxy etc/or instrumental channel chillaya.. its risky with her to watch TV even news channels are risky to see... any time any news or any ad can come, and explaining her will be difficult bcoz i dont lie. more
