Weddings And Gatherings can be risky

65 people attended a wedding

22 caught COVID
Who passed it on to 14 more
And they passed it to 24 more
83% of these 60 cases had symptoms

ONE died - who never attended the wedding

COVID loves going from person to person. Practice physical distancing more

So, why is the author worried? Did she attended the wedding. The almighty God has his CrPC.He/She will continue to implement it without any exemption. Wow, 1.3 billion plus people are not listening and obeying the protocol issued by the democratically elected Government. And the author believes they are going to listen to her. Ok,Ok, we saw your name and picture. more
It is a known fact that unless there is a unavoidable strong compulsion or force from any authority, normally we Indian seldom practice self discipline! That is why in every City/village, one can see large number of citizens who neglect even to wear masks, not to talk about keeping social distancing! Even in the market places one can see the shop-keepers, vegetable vendors and citizens freeling doing their business without bothering about any Covid or observing Covid norms! There appears to be no strict enforcement of covind lockdown norms/guidelibes by the authorities also. In fact, a very sorry state of affairs are prevailing indeed everywhere and as such, why to single out and talk about marriage gatherings alone please? more
Yes the wedding of former Chief Minister's Actor son was also held during mid April with 200 attending the . Officially were only 50 . There were pictures flashed in the news papers the crowd not wearing masks forst of all , next crowding. Then there was another from another party . That was the Time Karnataka and Bengaluru , the incidence of infection was far less .Today the state contributes the third highest number of cases next to Maharashtra , A.p., pushing even Delhi and T.N.behind . That is a Lesson for people who think and are overconfidents that they alone are immune to the Virus . It is OK if it affects only the culprits who dont follow the norms , but along with them lots of innocents are also affected. more
