Weekend Curfew For two weeks
Weekend curfew in Bengaluru for two weeks. This coming weekend and the next one. (Friday 10 pm to Monday 5 am)
Public places - malls, theatres, restaurants - to function at 50% capacity.

Night curfew is ok. But, weekend or day curfew is not a solution. Instead, micro containment zones where there are cases and strict implementation of no-crowding, distancing anywhere and everywhere needs to be done. Every ward can have 3 or 4 squads combing the area and imposing fines and shutting down events, places where the norms are flouted. Citizens of the area can be roped in for this. A whatsapp number where citizens could log violations and immediate action taken would help. Clusters have been found in apartment complexes and hostels. Take steps to contain them instead of reverting to online classes, because students attending schools are not the cause. more

50/50 will not work. I COMPLETELY AGREE with Shekar Natesh. Rule that Public places - malls, theatres, restaurants - to function at 50% capacity....IS A FRAUD ON PUBLIC AND AMOUNTS TO TAKING THE CITIZENS FOR A SWEEET RAID. Why? Has the Carona Virus committed to Ms.Ashima Gupta that they will attack only on week ends? If only people follow the basic guidelines set by the government of wearing proper masks, maintain social distancing, not coming out of the house unnecessarily, washing their hands frequently, no virus has to guts to come anywhere near you more
