Welcome to Lets Fight Swine Flu circle
Dear all:
Those of you who were part of the Make Delhi Better with Kejriwal circle (and based in Delhi/NCR) have automatically been given access to this Health Governance circle of Delhi.
This circle will initially focus on the challenge at hand which is Fighting Swine Flu in Delhi and NCR area.
It brings together Administration, Doctors and Citizens of Delhi to create awareness and fight Swine Flu together.
We will be able to disseminate information/tips on Swine Flu and members will be able to share on the ground facts as well as exchange practical tips (where to go for tests, what's working, how to recover faster, etc)
Once the Swine Flu is past us, this community will be transitioned to a Healthy Delhi citizen community enabling citizens to working with each other and the Government to make the Healthcare System of Delhi more robust and transparent. Citizens will also be able to seek references, share experiences and find health information through this circle.
If for some reason, you do not want to be a part of this circle, you can leave the circle.

My experience shoes:- if any one of your companion children/one of school students or neighbours suffered infection and you or your children have doubt about swine flu or symptoms of swine flu, it is better to go straight to a reputed government hospital for the diagnoses. They will take care better then private hospital irrespective of money. more

I have come to know - that pharma companies are not giving the vaccines in open markets but are supplying to corporates to earn profits. Kindly look into this matter - and blacklist those companines and they should not be permitted to sell their products in Delhi more

I HAVE COME ACROSS MANY PATIENTS WHO WERE REFERRED TO GOVT APPROVED HOSPITAL FOR HINI TESTING .BUT WERE NOT ENTERTAINTED AND WERE REFUSED WITH FALSE ASSURANCE THAT IS NOT SWINE FLU . Normally we refer the patient when there is strong suspicion and many time these patients who go to pvt doctors to save time are not able to afford an expensive test in PVT labs. I request you to kindly send a directive to all the hospitals - that all those cases who are being sent by qualified doctors for testing of swine flu should not be turned back without proper reason. more

Government mobile and school health teams and dispensaries staff can be utilised for mass campaigns like it was done by initial polio teams. All the officers and field workers can be posted in various places and integration of other local bodies can boost the campaign. Surveillance in MCD and Delhi Govt needs to be strengthen for detecting and prevention rather than waiting for diseases to occur. more
