What about Local bodies discharging Sewage into Rivers! There is Nala near our house, it was for Rain Water flow, where Fish used to breed and people used to do fishing. Few years back PMC under beautification Plan made a 5' wide Drain in 100' wide Nala, due to which PMC raised height of bridge over Nala by 5' later Road height was raised by 5', due to which many house went below the Road Level, our being one of these. A Wall was also built across Nala, which stopped flow of Water during Rains, so PMC had to demolish Wall. They also wasted money on Constructing Gate. Worst part was Sewage base was broken to Discharge Sewage into Nala, as due to Drain Water Pipe connecting Sewage Chamber from West to Chamber on the East had to be removed. When Government undertakes projects without proper Planning, should not authorities responsible be punished. After years of my writing to Commissioners, Chamber Leakage was stopped.

all encroachments should be destroyed and alternate space provided at any cost.This has to be done for forest developments also and only tribals should be made custodians of forests and rivers.The discharge of chemical wastes starts in River ganga and spreads through out india and most of fish specie have disappeared already more
