Absolutely essential for middle class retired senior citizens: 1.) Proper healthcare on the lines of Europe, UK, US 2.) Free medicare insurance 3.) Unfortunately MEDICARE insurance keeps creeping up exponentially with & on top of that Govt. has mercilessly imposed 18% GST which works out to atleast Rs. 5,000/- to 15,000/- or even more. Govt. must immly. withdraw GST on Mediclaim premiums & refund those who have paid. This must be done who have been salaried class & have been paying Income Tax. 4.) Senior citizens were not exposed to share market & hence post retirement hoped to pass remainder life on interest on FDs. Lower interest & higher cost have taken a toll. Govt. must compensate for this - those who are middle class retired senior citizens. more
