WHAT EDAPPADI SHOULD DO TO WIN NEXT ELECTION

I believe that the basic reason why Edappadi led AIADMK suffered humiliating defeat is the widespread corruption at all levels in Tamil Nadu government. Helpless people has no alternative other than voting against Edappadi government. It is not as if DMK government in the past was less corrupt.

But, people thought that in any case this ADMK corrupt government should be removed and only alternate for them is the DMK led front.

It is still fresh in memory of people that respected Kamaraj said that both DMK and ADMK are the same material , soaked in dirty water.

If Edappadi want to win the next election, he should root out corruption at all levels in government machinery for which to happen he has to remain above corruption himself and take steps to dismiss the corrupt ministers, activate the anti vigilance commission and create fear in the minds of the corrupt people at all levels where they cannot escape punishment.

I am not sure whether he has the strength of character to do this. Atleast, his desire to win next election should prod him to become a anti corruption crusader.

Wishful thinking is that the state goes for Presidents Rule for one year like Delhi and have fresh elections. During that one year, all DMK & ADMK oriented Government officials should be taught a lesson and / or punished to make the administration clean. Then hope for the best. ADMK is a better evil as compared to DMK. more
EPS himself is not a person with clean hands. They just want to safeguard the current rule to do more corruption and nothing more than that; nothing for the welfare of tamil nadu or its people. A minor portion of the huge corrupted money will be thrown for the voters in the next election to win. On the first hand, people should think with some sense and throw these greedy politicians home instead of going beyond these 2 fully corrupted parties. more
first he should do something for solving basic water crisis. i see every house is spending nearly Rs 20,000 on buying water cans per year. he should provide potable water free of cost and all water bodies should be desilted all across tamilnadu. then i will vote for AIADMK and he will win next time more
If any party can solve the water crisis in Tamilnadu (without tankers). then that party would definitely win all future elections. more
Two years period from now is good amount of time and that too with the all helpful government at the centre , it is testing time for leadership of the Duo , if in the process of taking action against corrupt some MLAs defect and they lose power , then they can be sure of coming back as crusaders against corruption; at the same time Centre also should help by turning the heat on ALL criminal and corrupt Mps more
