What incapanle corrupt officials do to your city

Bangalore is the global case study for that. If u are not in town or working from home, this is what son experienced yesterday more

all govt depts and so called self styled mla and mp only wake up before elections otherwise the pathetic road situation is there since so many years and none of the govts including the present one did planning for bangalore and when problem arises the easiest way to wriggle out is by saying the previous govt did not do anything hence the issue. When 40% of the project cost is given to the corrupt politicians then what kind of infrastructure will you construct.Every year crores of money is spent and god only know how much is really spent on infrastructure since majority goes to the corrupt politicians. more
Agreed that corruption is at the helm of affairs, failure to punish the culprits is puzzling. Honest tax payers are taken for a ride. Every type of tax is sucked from public (including on 'B' katha properties) but where are amenities. Courts should take up the issues suo moto or else worse days are in store. more
As long as there is a giver there will always be a taker. You are willing to pay bribes and then crib more
Corrupt and don't care officials and politicians. With buildings come up left, right and centre, the situation will only get worse. Next, the High court will ask the civic authorities and govt to fix the problem without mentioning accountability and punishment. And then the same thing repeats next year . more
I guess the courts have no real powers except to comment in these situations. They can take action only if someone is actually prosecuted legally. Our government institutions are all brothers in arms and all are of the same unethical ilk, so they even made a laws that state that permission must be granted by them for prosecution!! There is no one on this planet who can fix it. more
