You should discuss the matter of International worker, wherein recently the treaty has been signed with Japan and accordingly PF Commissioner is right to decide and to use his discretion for settlement of same. The cheque can be replaced with demand draft / Bankers cheque. wherein thru western union further money can be transfered to Japan in their Account. more
NoThe thing to worry, Kindly give the facts to RPFC and meet the PF Commissioner. In such circumstances, since it is a case repatriation, The RPF Commissioner is vested with powers to issue cheque of appropriate currency. more
EPF office issues payment by cheque also. more
Very good suggestions by all my 3 above friends. Above this the PF commissioner is supreme in this regard.Go to PF office. Get his advice. Best thing. more
Dear Poster You can process their application by providing bank account number through RBI repatriation process. This needs a dummy account number opened recently with any of the banks and can process PF formalities. Once PF is through funds can be parked in that temp account, and shall be repatriated. Else you can have their overseas account linked to any of the Indian Banks so as to have dual access for the same. Please visit RBI femaonline.com for more help under repatriation of funds. thanks Gnana Prakash more
