WHAT SEPARATES CLEANLINESS FROM FILTH :

The attachment shows a comparison between the 2 garbage clearance patterns. Our sympathies to the ones living on the left side our neighbor . How we wish our country will become like the one on the right side . What makes the difference ?

One is from a Developing country Srilanka, the other is china, a fast developing country . Though China & India are in the same league BRICS , what measures have they taken to keep the place clean ?. What is the participation of the public ? What are the penalties imposed for violation ? How do they keep the authorities under leash and motivate them ?

Barring Economy we will be nowhere near any of the countries in the BRICS . With an exception of that Brazil that may come close to India.
every citizen who travels to clean cities share their experiences of cleanliness of the other countries. at least let that set the ball rolling for effort from us and authorities.

ALL THAT PUBLIC NEEDS TO DO AS CITIZENS IS TO

* SEGREGATE GARBAGE AT SOURCE ,

ALL THAT THE AUTHORITIES NEED TO DO IS :

* COLLECT AS SEGREGATED FROM SOURCE.

* RECYCLE , DISPOSE , COMPOST , GENERATE POWER , GAS , FUEL . Jai Hind. more

Our government should first come out of the vote bank politics, make alternate arrangements where necessary (against open urination & defecation), make people educated and alerted against dirtiness followed by suitable laws making spreading dirt & garbage a cognizable offence. However, cleanliness needs public participation in large scale. more
Mr. Pant I didn't expect that from a Bengaluru man . As I keep coming to the Garden City frequently , I have noticed the changes that are being implemented , mostly with the influence of ex service personnel. I think you also look like one . *The most parks have started having their own compost for the neighbourhood. *The public is more conscious of the problem . *The public is more eager to join hands with authorities. #Thank goodness the Chennai Corporation has sent a circular to the residents in some streets . It advises the residents to segregate the Garbage. #Dispose only the bio degradable daily into the bibs to be collected by the municipal workers . # Keep the non degradable till wednesday which will be collected on a weekly basis. Segragation of Garbage at source is 50% success. Let us work for the balance 50. OUR GARBAGE OUR RESPONSIBILITY more
I agree with shri Vadakkuppattu Ramanathan ji. more
In all our discussions we are trying to hide some thing may be to give unwanted credit to somebody. I hope everyone are knowing about the Municipal solid Waste ( Management and Handling) Rules, of 2000. If the provisions of the rules is implemented with earnest. There will be success. Sure if required timely modifications can be brought in. more
Sri Daniel, the only way the country can improve is when we all collectively do our duty sincerely, whether it is garbage disposal or working or paying taxes. The human mind, especially in India seems more inclined to the path of least resistance. Why should I do this, what do I get out of this, why should I pay my taxes when businessmen, politicians and others do not, why should I be honest when dishonesty pays so well, especially, monetarily? Only when a critical mass of the population gets out of this moral slumber, thousand Modis and thousand Abdul Kalams cannot change the country. more
The common municipal solid waste management facility for a particular area , say a municipal corporation, municipal town or a village center is essential. The primary responsibility is with the local body, then every thing will be alright. more
I fully agree more
respected sir, with due respects it is the culture and the callous attitude makes or mar the place of living. the people treat the public place as a universal solution to dump the garbage. parking, spitting, overflowing of drainage water, pavement dwellers, pits, uneven roads, improper planting of trees, sudden spurt of religious structures damages the ecology of living. government works for photo -oops rather than find and implementing the suggestions of the society concerned. there is no defined way for the government but only regularize after realizing the money imposed. we are best speakers, but poor implementer s. that is bane of the nation. 50% of the diseases are due to contamination, pollution created due to lack of understanding, improper way of handling of authorities concerned and also due to public participation and perception of things the society at large is facing. -sadbhavana On Wed, Sep 20, 2017 at 1:36 PM, Jayakumar Daniel < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
