What's best food to be taken empty stomach, mornings/ after fasting

Early morning stomach is full of acid and bile manufacturered by lining of stomach and liver all through the night while we're sleeping and trying to digest foods eaten during dinner time helped by acid and bile.

This acid-bile collection in the stomach needs to be washed out to proceed further towards small intestine.

Food pipe is about 6 feet long,maybe taller than you and longest is small intestine, rolled up in abdominal cavity, moving constantly without hitting self or other organs in the abdominal cavity

Bag of stomach has 2 locks, one in upper segment so that foods don't go up towards esophagus causing acid reflux,sour eruption and regurgitation

Other lock is at lower end of stomach so that foods which have been ground well and mixed with stomach juices do go down to feets long small intestine after being helped by juices and grinder in stomach helping the digestive process for appx 4 hours.

Remember stomach is a bag which is highly elastic and gets full faster than believed but emptying may take upto 4 hours and it's easier to empty stomach bag if fat fee simple liquids like water are added on this,empty stomach.

Never use cold drinks on empty stomach because of quicker absorption and delayed emptying of cold drinks which are at lesser temperature than our body temperature.

Stomach needs to be restful during early morning hours and loading with heavy foods or too light and cold foods will definitely cause acidity related issues that stays with you for life

Use warm water as first drink in the morning

If you don't like plain warm water,put a spoon of honey which is antiseptic and moisturizer too..diabetes too can take half spoon of honey in a glass of plain warm water ( just 15 calories)

If you don't like warm water you can take fancy green tea

If you don't like fancy teas,make your tea your way,using ginger etc but little milk,cow's milk has no Malai making digestion easier

Digestion starts from mouth and saliva also helps to digest foods

Do brushing after drinking water in any form. more

have been doing this since more than 14 years now normal or warm water to start the day the water which i drink first w/o brushing is from copper utensil stored for more than 8 hours , after brushing its plain lime water ( no sugar/ honey or salt) usually warm water next thing before any breakfast i.e 1 hour after lime water . One can have fermented rice ( 2/3 spoons of plain rice with half bowl normal water stored in clay bowl with plain curd (2/3 spoon fulls) add coriander leaves, a small green chilli . ferment overnight for 8 hours , In morning before breakfast have it with added rock salt to taste , good for gut health i.e overall stomach health more

Can I take normal water instead of warm water more  
What is normal water?
Cold water should be avoided because temperature of body is 37.4
Warm water is recommended because of helping all functions of food pipe, including washing away digestive juices collected during the night while we're sleeping and not eating anything and juices do get collected to cause acidity related issues more

Doctor, your explanation is really helpful to all. Everyday i consume 1000ml hotwater. More yoga, asanas and exercise there after for about an hour. This system keeps me fulky energetic with NO body ache, stiffness or joint pain, gastric and relief from other issues. more
