Wheat Bread is a fraud
Wheat bread or atta bread is the biggest consumer fraud in the food sector. This so called wheat in 99% of the breads is refined atta or better called Maida. Why does fssai not take action on this I dont understand. Why would you allow bread makers to mislead consumers like this. more

Most so called whole wheat breads are nothing but made out of Maida with brawn color added. Fact known to common people and I am sure FSSAI knows it. In India we have many such agencies who work as watch dog - watches but do not bite. Unless some activist lodges a complain these agencies will not take action. more

Except gluten content, therer are no changes in parameters between WHEAT ATTA and REFINED ATTA that is MAIDA more

Can any one furnish a test report on Wheat Bread having 99% maida. Based on that we can put pressure on Govt. /fssai to act. more

The FACT is that, most of the people choose Wheat Bread, and consume safely not knowing the real fact. Thanks to Saritha in bringing such a post for public awareness. Expectation from FSSAI is not in good spirits, as they don't do their job! Why to speak negative about them, then!!! It's our fate! more
