Who is the go to body for water issues
It seems BIS sets standards for water and all companies have to take license but fssai seems to be also setting standards for water.

BIS can take action only when the BIS LICENSED units err. Only FSSAI can take action. Fssai has developed an appwhere consumer can prefer complaint. We can go to their website and prefer complaint more

Yes, both BIS and FSSAI are having the same power to fix the standard. Let there be division of supervision. more

If the bottled drinking water does not conform to BIS Standards, then BIS will definitely take action and cancel the licence of the bottling plant. If the violation is of FSSAI standarads, then FSSAI will take action. more
