Why aadhaar for only cow?
Just like the 12-digit Aadhaar number for every Indian, the Central government is set to assign each of the country’s milk-producing cows a cheap, unique identity card or UID, first proposed in 2015.
Deliverable targets in this year’s Union budget show Rs 50 crore for the project to cover 40 million cattle.

Dear Members, Most of us may be aware of that cow is only living being in the universe who is most environment friendly and with its each action environment improves in sensible manner. In ancient Bharat for the sake of mankind we considered cow as respected animal "गौमाता". In the world today many have recognised this fact and have been generating beneficial ways for human life. Preserving cow life and taking care of that is going to benefit the human society and mankind. It can internally strengthen our country, as well, provided we transform ourselves by attitude to move forward with right perspective. more

we have livestock census once in five years which give us only number, govt. is now providing tag to each animal by way of this project-so that biths and deaths of these animals are fully accounted. more
