Why AAdhar Data should be shared?
Why government and private agencies are running behind the aadhar data. As it is very sensitive information. We have seen that how secure is our government website there are so many website of defence is hacked by pakistan. I don't know why the government and even now a days private institutions also asking aadhar data. Recently there is news of some private banks data is also hacked. Is it good sign for collecting aadhar. Even in USA they will not use complete SSN they will use only last 4 digits to identify. Please let me know how to move further action to move forward on this issue to the people. respected lawyers please raise an issue with respect it. Please think every one on this it was a very big issue if the data is gone into wrong hands then we can't even imagine the destruction for india as well as a individual person. more

even for life certificates for pensioners they are asking Adhar card though it is optional more

Sir there is no mechanism to prevent misuse of aadhar data. when banks insist on aadhar card for opening accounts, all bank accounts of the individual are linked and all banking data can be easily collected through aadhar card. Similarly PAN details are made compulsory for bank accounts. When bank accounts are connected to aadhar, PAN details can be collected through aadhar. Virtually aadhar opens the window of individual privacy and the Govt under BJP has deliberately put the privacy of the Citizens at risk for a heavy price and being sold to outsourcing agencies foreign agencies and TPS. Advanced countries like America and UK have already collected all data relating to our citizens through aadhar with the help of out sourcing agencies. They have all data relating to the location and address of every citizen through GPS system operated through satellite. This is the greatest contribution of BJP govt...selling the privacy of Indians to foreigners....and they believe that it is their desi slogan. more

The concept of a Unique Identification can be said "Fantastico"... but there is a scope for colossal misuse by n number of service providers, who made it a source for generating income by collecting data in huge volumes and then sell it to those who intent to do market penetration and sales promotion purposes. This misuse should be prevented at all costs as the privacy of Individuals is on check-mate if not today.. tomorrow for sure. more

What Hari Muppa says is absolutely correct. I have been repeating the same thing ever since this issue was posted. Address proof and name confirmation can be verified by a drivers licence, telephone bill, electric bill and the Adhar card. Why do service providers need to keep a Xerox copy of our cards? These are sold to Banks for credit cards offers, tele marketing agencies, on line stores etc. Not to forget to mention criminals and terrorists. Our Xerox card copies are sold to numerous parties. more
