Why AAP is insisting for Jan Lok Pal for eradicating corruption and not the public awareness

Indian has world’s largest written constitution having so many effective provisions for good governance but most of these provisions have already been made ineffective and away from the reach of a common man by the Governance itself. The tendency of indls and environmental conditions are two main reasons for corruption. Tendency is born from character and conditions are created by an indl for which governance is more responsible. Effectiveness of a provision is indirectly proportional to the combined strength of tendency and the conditions. Hence, instead of creating parallel sys of governance always, think of making the common man strong enough to take advantages of these provisions. Excess of everything is bed and even in-spite of creating means to change the political sys, voters may consider it an end to grebe the power for governance only. more

Thanks Anand Ji and Nandyal Ji for having focus and valuavle suggestions on prevailing constitutional aspect. more
Dr. Bijendra Singh ; you have said it correctly. Ananad Monocha has analyzed it much more well. Laws cannot eradicate corruption. Till the individual is looking only to his immediate benefit and not the benefit of society at large corruption cannot be eliminated. We may speal at the top of our voices we may right pages when it comes to my getting work done urgently and immediately as the work is important to me I forget all the sermons which I preach I feeel they are not for that moment. Unless this attitute is changed the corruption cannot be eradicated. For this cultural, attitudinal changes have to be brought in by teaching, preaching, following such ideals and by demonstrating such ideals by leaders themselves. It takes time it may take two to three generations. To rid the mind set, slavary mind set which in put in to our minds over almost 700 years rulers and which has alomost become a DNA lot of efforts have to be put in. There is no short cut for the same. The people have to be empowered. Empowerment is not by throwing freebies at them. But making them understand the virtue of earning the same. By doling out freebies we are making people less confident, lazy, having inferior complex, cowerdice, looking always for solutions to others but not knowing their capacity or strength. The politicians behave like this because they feel they are the kings. They feel they are the servents of the public who elect them. Unless people feel that they are the right owners of the land the resources they cannot question the political class. The arrogance with wich Mr. Kapil Sibal says that the voter has to only vote and has no right to question anything shows the attitude of the people. They are so because they are depending on the doles they the ruling class provides to them. If this attitute is changed people will start questioning all the acts and deeds of those in power. AAP which has come as a refreshing balm should not follow the same beaten track of providing the people with frees, subsidies etc. Then we are not empowering them in the true sense. We again want to make them slaves. The hero worship is one another aspect the founders of this party should deist. We have said we are servents of the people who elect us. Then we should be responsive to them and their question. The attitude which is demonstrated in most of the posting on the net indicating that Mr.AK will never be wrong or he cannot do mistakes is only in the direction o making him omnipotent, all knowing, not responsible for any thing or any body and if he does some thing it should be and will be right and no body has any right to question it or point it out indicates the tendencies of hero worship and the hero slowly becomes beleving in his super powers and that is how all the present policitican have grown. Should we as a new aprty with a totally diferent vision give room for such tendencies to raise. we should feel each one of us is a leader and can do things differently an for the good of the society and the country. If some body does some thing wrong we should have the guts to point it out and also should have guts to accept if any wrong has been done by us to accept the mistake and try to learn from such mistake and move forward. Thus a total attitudinal change has to come in all the members, supporters, general public, am admi etc., etc., then only we can achieve the utopian idea of tatal corrupt free society, a society and people without any further necessities, an egalitarian society where every body has equal opportunitis to get educates, get medial facilities, get equal opportunities to earn and depend on their onwn feet without looking for any benevolence from the State. In such a state people will be the real kings and the elected learders will only be their servents discharging the duties assigned by the people of this country. In such a situation only if the employee does a mistake the employer that the public will have a right to show such servant the doors or what you call recall him. Let us hope to achieve such a Socity. more
What a wonderful insight you have, dear Dr.Bijendra Singh-yes-the common man has to be strengthened, there is no use in writing open letter to Ambanis etc., there is a need to know our aims and goals....apparently AAP is not showing the vision which it has, for it has none, it is working on a reaction based theme...no, dear Arvind, you are missing the point....you need to come up with pro-active measures of e-governance, i.e. emotional governance...to reach out to the hearts of the mango people.....we, us,but how ? Each different section of society has different needs...fine, lets see that for sure, but first the message of love has to reach out to the people, that, AAP has love to offer to the people(voters) and promote the basis of 'family life'..as we are all a family, the emotional element is missing......yet, there are ways of filling it..i have some solid themes to work on..... more
